IBS affects 5-10% of the world's population, making it one of the most common GI disorders.

In a survey conducted by IFFGD, nearly 2000 patients reported they suffered from IBS symptoms for 6.6 years before being diagnosed.

Individuals with IBS restrict their activities on an average of 73 days a year.
